people imagine him either personally designing rockets or sitting in an office running companies like any other ceo. but i think his real talent is something else entirely.
he knows how to turn humanity’s obsession with the future into actual market value.
think about the tesla roadster. announced in 2017, promised for 2020, with people putting down tens of thousands of dollars in deposits. almost a decade later, we're still waiting, and the conversation has moved on to flying cars and new production promises.
