the person who founded this chain was a conservative christian but didn't really get into politics. they'd put bible verses and the like on the bottom of the paper cups the drinks come in, but that was about it. years after they died their granddaughter (lynsi snyder) took over the head of the company, and she's an incurable trump fan. she can't help fawning over trump everywhere she sees a microphone. the woman donated 2 million dollars to trump's election campaign in the last elections. because of this, a lot of people in the usa have started boycotting this company. it's interesting too that a firm like this, the vast majority of whose customers live in democratic states like california, plays it as a fanatical trump supporter.
