one of those cities where you can understand why people call it boring and still completely understand why people want to live there.
it is clean, wealthy, safe, organized, close to the alps, and everything generally works. munich also has the highest purchasing power in germany, around 35 percent above the national average.
but the “rich old people city” stereotype is not really accurate. almost 45 percent of the population is between 15 and 44.
to me, munich feels less like a city for old people and more like a city for people who already have their life together.
great place to live.
maybe not the place you move to because you want chaos.
