the real achievement isn’t avoiding a hitler comparison. it’s ending an internet argument before anyone feels the need to make one.

one of those cities where you can understand why people call it boring and still completely understand why people want to live there.

it is clean, wealthy, safe, organized, close to the alps, and everything generally works. munich also has the highest purchasing power in germany, around 35 percent above the national average.

but the “rich old people city” stereotype is not really accurate. almost 45 percent of the population is between 15 and 44.

unless i saw it wrong, the king didn't shake donald trump's hand. i'm gonna watch it again to make sure. if that's really what happened, the guy's got balls of steel. he's earned my respect after that.

a theory of physics and mathematics arguing that structures which seem, at first glance, completely random and disordered, but which reside within deterministic systems, actually contain within themselves a deep mathematical order and sensitivity. its most popular manifestation is the butterfly effect, the metaphor that the flap of a butterfly's wings in the amazon rainforest could lead to a hurricane in texas.

a country i find quite interesting for having managed to remain free throughout its history and preserve its direct democracy, while all of europe was groaning in agony under feudalism and its surroundings were full of kingdoms and duchies.

life rewards courage, not potential.

i can't figure out why norway isn't playing a 4-4-2. you've got sorloth, the guy is 6'3", out on the right wing trying to whip in crosses.

come on, ivory coast!
